Prepare

Father, I give myself over to you and ask you to make me one with you as Christ is one with you. Thank you for your great love. Help me to love you well. Thank you for proving your love by sending Jesus to be my Savior and Lord. Thank you for including me in Christ, accepting me through him, forgiving my sins, granting me His righteousness and making me complete in Him as the demonstration of your amazing grace. (reference: 1 John 3:1-3)

My Lord Jesus, thank you for saving me. I acknowledge your presence and ask you to restore and renew me today. By faith, I claim the love, life, and grace that only comes through you. God my Savior, you alone are worthy of all my worship and heart’s devotion. I love you, help me love you more. I trust you, help me trust you more. I give myself over to you in my heart’s search for life and meaning. Forgive me for my every sin. Search me and know me and reveal to me where you are working in my life. Grant me the grace of restoration, deliverance from temptation and lasting repentance from all my sins and folly. Thank you for coming to ransom me with your own life. I receive all the work and triumph of your cross, death, blood and sacrifice for me. I receive the power of your resurrection and reign over all created things. I cast off and reject my pride, arrogance, unbelief, idolatry and lust. I ask that as I walk through this day, you clothe me in your righteousness, wisdom, integrity, purity, humility and favor with God and people. I sincerely receive you and declare you as my authority, my King, my everlasting victory against all forms of evil. You are the overcomer. I am in you and you are in me (reference: John 17).

Holy Spirit, thank you for coming to dwell within us. I receive all your work and victory for us in Pentecost. You are my union with the Father and the Son. You are the Spirit of truth in me, the life of God in me, my Counselor, Comforter, Strength, and Guide. Fill my life now. Make me constantly aware of my union with you, the Father and the Son. Lead me into all truth. Empower me for all of my life. Lead me deeper into the love, truth, wisdom, and integrity of my Lord Jesus today. Do this for the strength of my soul and your prevailing work through my life. I yield myself to you with a grateful heart and I give you total claim to my life. Bring opportunities for me to witness for Christ, to share the hope that is available to everyone because of His redeeming work. Bring encouragement into our lives today. Go before us and raise up a full canopy of prayer and provision over us. Anoint us to serve well in Your power and leading. Bless, strengthen, and multiply Your ministry through us.

Spiritual Warfare

I pray now, in the name and authority of Jesus Christ, against any foul or unclean spirit that attempts to come against us.  I pray against any work of the enemy or schemes of ungodly people. I pray that these evil forces would be repelled and bound away from us in Jesus' name. And in His good name I summon holy angel warriors to defend us from every attack and completely destroy the works of the enemy. I also pray for angelic protection over those we reach out to, share Christ with and invite to be a part of Your church. In Jesus' name Amen.
